چکیده
We consider systems which exhibit typical critical dependence of the specific heat: ∆c ∝ (TC − T) −γ (T < TC); ∆c ∝ (T − TC) −γ ′ (T > TC) where γ,γ ′ are critical exponents (γ = α for ∆c = ∆cp,N , γ = α for ∆c = ∆cV,N), as well as, the case when ∆c ∝ (ln | TC − T |) a (a = 1 3 , uniaxial ferroelectrics; a = 1, liquid He 4). Starting from the critical behaviour of the specific heat we find the Gibbs (Helmholtz) potential in the vicinity of the critical point for each case separately. We derive in this way many exact critical relations in the limit T → TC which remain the same for each considered case. They define a new class of universal critical relations independent from the underlying microscopic mechanism and the symmetry of these systems. The derived relations are valid for a very broad class of magnetic, ferroelectric and superconducting materials, as well as, for liquid He 4 .

Introduction to Schramm-Loewner evolution and its application to critical systems
In this short review we look at recent advances in Schramm-Loewner Evolution (SLE) theory and its application to critical phenomena. The application of SLE goes beyond critical systems to other time dependent, scale invariant phenomena such as turbulence, sand-piles and watersheds. Through the use of SLE, the evolution of conformally invariant paths on the complex plane can be followed; hence a...
متن کاملAnalysis of Ahmadinejad Government's Foreign Policy According to the Critical Theory of International Relations
The goal of this article is the analysis of Ahmadinejad government's foreign policy according to the critical theory of international relations. Whether it seems foreign policy of Mahmood Ahmadinejad, government is different from his before and after governments. Perhaps it could be provided more detailed and objective analysis from foreign policy of Islamic Republic of Iran during Ahmadinejad ...
متن کاملA Critical Discourse Analysis of Four Advanced ELT Textbooks Based on Fairclough’s Framework
Critical Discourse Analysis uncovers the relationship between discourse, ideology, and power. This study investigated and analyzed contents, social relations, and subject positions in conversations of four popular advanced ELT textbooks. The findings indicated that for contents, giving/asking for information and interaction were outstandingly significant. Regarding social relations, friend was ...
متن کاملCritical Geopolitics and Foreign Policy Analysis of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Critical geopolitics, which has entered the international relations literature since 1975 through the efforts of Frankfurt School theorists, identifies the identity, discourse approach, and importance of informal-state actors. The present article seeks to answer the question of whether it is possible to use critical geopolitical theory in the analysis of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republ...

In the vicinity of the quark-hadron critical point, in the phase diagram of QCD, simple power-law relations constrain the mid-rapidity net-baryon density profile, for different heavy-ion processes, in a unifying scheme. The corresponding scaling variable specifies the proximity of a given experiment to the critical point. An important phenomenological aspect of the critical properties in the ba...
